Turkish steel exports continue to grow through July
Turkish steel exports grew 15.3% on-year to 10.9 million tonnes in January-July, supported by increased shipments to the European Union and the Far East, Kallanish learns from the Turkish Steel Exporters' Association (CIB).
Exports increased thanks to exporters' efforts to compensate instability and obstructions experienced in some main markets with focus on new markets, CIB's chairman Namik Ekinci comments in a statement.
