Turkish producers look to fill China virus gap
Turkish steel producers can meet the supply gap in Southeast Asian markets created by the absence of Chinese suppliers on account of the coronavirus. This is according to Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association (ÇİB) chairman Adnan Aslan.
Companies operating in many provinces of China will be closed until at least 9 February, which will result in a decrease in Chinese steel output and exports, Aslan points out.
