Turkish ship scrap prices increase
The shipbreaking scrap price range in Turkey has widened last week, with the upper end of the range soaring by $20/tonne on-week, as buying activity has picked up, market participants tell Kallanish.
Currently, ship scrap is quoted at $235-275/t in the Aliaga region, according to the Ship Recyclers' Association of Turkey (Gemisander).
