Turkish scrap stabilises amid weak activity
Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged since last week, Kallanish notes.
Meanwhile, imported scrap values have not changed either, with market forces finding no room for movement up or down.
The latest deal was confirmed from France at $386/tonne for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $411/t cfr Turkey for shredded, as reported earlier. Mills' demand for deep-sea scrap is at almost zero.
