Turkish scrap soars, rebar remains languishing

Turkish mills have concluded an array of deep-sea scrap bookings this week and over last weekend that have taken prices up to their highest level since last November. Despite some reports of a limited pick-up in domestic stockist buying, rebar export demand remains minimal, notwithstanding mills’ increased offers.
