Turkish scrap soars further, rebar surpasses $500
Turkish scrap bookings have slowed this week but prices soared further on a combination of supply constraints, Vale’s iron ore production disruption, and restocking in Turkey’s local rebar market. Various Turkish rebar mills, meanwhile, concluded deals to Yemen.
