Turkish scrap slides despite continued sellers' resistance
One Benelux-origin deal has brought Turkish scrap import prices crashing down this week, although US and Baltic merchants continue to hold out for prices higher than Turkish mills are prepared to pay. One mill, meanwhile, was heard selling small rebar tonnages to two destinations.
