Turkish scrap remains firm on fresh deals
Scrap prices in Turkey remain firm on a mill's fresh bookings from the US and Puerto Rico.
The mill bought HMS 1&2 80:20 at $390/tonne and shredded and bonus grade at $410/t cfr from the US on Wednesday. The same mill bought another cargo from Puerto Rico at $386/t for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $406/t cfr for bonus grade.
