Turkish scrap remains firm on fresh bookings
While most Turkish mills have kept their domestic scrap buying prices unchanged from last week, imported values remain firm on fresh bookings, Kallanish notes.
Two fresh imported scrap deals were heard on Wednesday. A US supplier sold HMS 1&2 80:20 at $387/tonne cfr Turkey, while a European supplier sold the same grade to the same mill at $380.5/t cfr.
