Turkish scrap records another fall on fresh booking
Scrap import prices in Turkey, which have been under pressure for a while due to a large number of offers in the market, have fallen sharply on a fresh deal concluded on Monday.
A Turkish long steel producer has bought EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at $413/tonne, shredded at $418/t and bonus grade at $423/t cfr Turkey. The same supplier sold HMS 1&2 80:20 on Friday at $417/t cfr.
