Turkish scrap prices increase slightly with fresh bookings
Turkish mills have concluded further scrap purchases this week at higher prices.
HMS 1&2 80:20 prices, which stood at $286/tonne cfr Turkey in last week’s deals, are seen to have increased to $287.5-290/t cfr in the latest bookings concluded this week.
A mill in southern Turkey is confirmed to have bought a scrap cargo from Poland on Wednesday comprising 26,000 tonnes of HMS 80:20 at $287.5/t, 2,000t of bonus at $297.5/t and 2,000t of busheling at $302…
