Turkish scrap expected to trend in narrow range
Having restarted scrap purchases last week, Turkish mills are seen to have concluded more bookings than previously thought, as they were keeping some confidential.
Kallanish confirms that some mills concluded EU- and US-origin scrap bookings last week although their actual prices are kept confidential. They are believed to be in the $497-500/tonne cfr range from the US and $489/t cfr from the EU for HMS 1&2 80:20.
