Turkish scrap continues to rally on fresh bookings
Scrap prices in Turkey are continuing to increase after more fresh bookings were reported on Friday.
On Thursday, a northern mill booked a Netherlands-origin cargo comprising 15,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 at $422/tonne cfr Turkey and 2,000t of bonus grade at $442/t cfr. However, freight to northern Turkey is higher compared to other Turkish ports.
