Turkish scrap prices continue fall on fresh deals
Scrap prices in Turkey have continued their downward trend, with supply of the material still outpacing demand in the market, Kallanish notes.
A few fresh bookings were heard on Friday. A Marmara mill is heard to have bought EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at $460/tonne cfr Turkey. The supplier was offering this grade at $465/t cfr since the beginning of the week.
