Turkish scrap continues to decline on fresh bookings
Imported scrap prices in Turkey are continuing to fall on fresh deals.
Following an EU-origin booking at $418/tonne cfr, two fresh deep-sea bookings were heard in the market on Friday. A western mill bought Sweden-origin cargo comprising 15,000t of HMS 1&2 80:20 at $430/t, 13,000t of shredded at $450/t and 2,000t of bonus grade at $450/t cfr.
