Turkish scrap prices keep rising, market debates peak
Scrap prices in Turkey continued their upward trend on fresh bookings on Friday.
Following the latest bookings from the US at $455/tonne cfr for HMS 1&2 85:18 and the EU at $440/t cfr for HMS 1&2 80:20, a Poland-origin deal was heard on Friday at $445/t cfr for 18,000t of HMS 1&2 80:20 and $465/t for 8,000t of bonus grade and shredded.
