Turkish scrap firms on fresh deals

Following a long silence in Turkish bookings, a long steel mill in southern Turkey is confirmed to have booked an EU-origin scrap cargo, while another southern mill booked a US cargo on Wednesday. The EU cargo contains 25,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 sold at $503/tonne cfr Turkey, for second-half-of April shipment. This is level on the deal concluded two weeks ago.
