Turkish scrap price declines on fresh Denmark booking
Turkish mills have had a quiet start to the week in terms of scrap demand. Although March-shipment requirements are not yet fulfilled, mills are seen in no rush to book.
A single booking has been heard in the market this week. A western Turkish mill is heard to have bought 27,000 tonnes of Denmark-origin HMS 1&2 85:15 at $421/tonne cfr Turkey on Tuesday, for mid-March shipment.
