Turkish scrap market takes breath, future direction debated
Turkish mills’ appetite for scrap purchases has decreased this week following numerous imported scrap bookings last week.
Having almost fulfilled their November-shipment scrap purchases, Turkish mills are seen having a break before continuing with December-shipment purchases. While this is creating an expectation for a decrease in scrap prices, this is yet to materialise.
