Turkish scrap market remains bullish after fresh booking
Turkish scrap market players remain bullish, though only one fresh imported scrap sale has been heard so far this week.
Although there was a rumour of a US-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap booking at $360/tonne cfr Turkey, it is yet to be confirmed. Sources say it was offered in the Turkish market last week but was sold to Egypt. Another US supplier is heard to have offered HMS 80:20 at $362/t cfr last weekend.
