Turkish scrap market expects to take breather
Following intense bookings during the past two weeks, activity in the Turkish scrap market is seen to have slowed this week.
Although there are still a few mills inquiring about scrap, demand has decreased significantly from last week.
On the other hand, most suppliers also received respite with the recent sales. However, there are still offers at $370/tonne cfr Turkey for EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20. Even $375/t cfr is available from one European supplier.
