Turkish scrap market ends week slow
Turkish mills remained inactive in their scrap purchases throughout the week. As a result, no deep-sea scrap booking was heard this week.
Although Turkish mills were not interested in buying scrap, some offers were circulated in the market. An EU-origin HMSS 1&2 80:20 offer price was decreased from $660/tonne to $646/t cfr. A European supplier has offered HMS 1&2 75:25 at $637/t cfr while another European supplier has offered the same grade at $650/t cfr. …
