Turkish scrap market doubts higher Baltic deal price
An imported scrap deal concluded on Tuesday has caused confusion in the Turkish market, Kallanish notes.
A Turkish mill that bought Baltic-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at $455/tonne cfr Turkey last week is heard to have concluded another booking from the Baltic at $457/t cfr for 13,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 and $473/t cfr for 17,000t of shredded.
