Turkish scrap market calms after intense bookings
Activity in the Turkish scrap market remains subdued since the beginning of the week as both buyers and sellers received respite following last week’s intense booking round.
The latest bookings were concluded at $374/tonne cfr Turkey for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $394/t cfr for bonus grade from the Baltic, and at $375/t cfr for HMS 1&2 80:20 from the US.
