Turkish scrap imports decline in November
Turkish scrap imports slipped on-year in November after surging in October, Kallanish calculates from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
November's imports came in at 1.87 million tonnes, down -1.4% y-o-y and down -15% over October. The overall average value/tonne of these imports increased to $336/t from $225/t a year ago.
