Turkish scrap imports continue decline despite Belgium-origin surge
Turkish scrap imports, which fell in September following a long-term rise, continued to decrease in October. They declined by 17% on-year in October to 1.59 million tonnes. They were, however, up from September imports of 1.57mt, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
