Turkish scrap rises further, rebar buyers digest hikes
Turkish scrap import prices inched up further last week on six fresh deep-sea bookings, two of which came from the US, ending a three-week long absence of US-origin deals. Turkish mills responded by raising their rebar export quotes, although no sales were heard as buyers digested prices, market participants tell Kallanish.
