Turkish scrap demand picks up
Some Turkish producers have returned to the scrap market and inquiring about material this week.
Three mills are so far seen to be active in the market, with other producers expected to also resume their purchases soon.
On Tuesday, a US-origin HMS 1&2 95:5 deal at $675/tonne cfr Turkey was disclosed in the market. The seller, however, confirmed that this deal was concluded on 15 March.
