Turkish scrap continues uptick on fresh deals
Scrap prices in Turkey continued to rise on Friday.
Following the EU-origin sale at $361/t cfr for HMS 1&2 80:2 earlier last week, another European supplier sold the same grade at $370/t cfr on Friday.
No EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 offer below $370/t cfr was available in the market on Friday. Although there was a US-origin offer at $372/t for the same grade earlier, no deal was heard from the region at publication time.
