Turkish scrap continues to slump on fresh deals
Scrap prices in Turkey are continuing to slump on fresh deals while sentiment is worsening further.
Two US-origin bookings were heard towards the end of last week.
The first deal, which was concluded earlier, comprises HMS 1&2 90:10 at $373/tonne and shredded at $385/t cfr Turkey. The second deal, concluded on 16 June, contains 18,000t of HMS 1&2 90:10 at $368/t, 5,000t of shredded at $386/t and 2,000t of bonus grade at $386/t cfr.
