Turkish scrap continues to slide on fresh bookings
Scrap prices in Turkey continued to decline on fresh bookings on Friday, Kallanish notes.
A western Turkish mill bought EU-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 at $411/tonne cfr Turkey. The previous deal from the same origin was concluded at $412/t cfr earlier last week. Although other EU deals are rumoured to have been done at $410/t and $411/t cfr, these were not confirmed at the time of publication.
