Turkish scrap continues to fall on fresh deals
Turkish scrap prices continued to decline on fresh bookings heard on Friday, Kallanish notes.
Following the US-origin HMS 1&2 80:20 booking at $355/tonne cfr Turkey on Thursday, another US supplier is seen struggling to find a buyer at this level.
In the EU, a fresh booking for HMS 1&2 80:20 was heard at $345/t cfr on Friday, following the booking at $348.5/t cfr for HMS 1&2 80:20 and $368.5/t cfr for bonus grade a day earlier.
