Turkish scrap collapses, rod softens
Wire rod export offers out of Turkey have fallen amid slow global demand and declining scrap prices.
Turkish producers’ export quotes stand mostly at $715-725/tonne fob Turkey for mesh-quality rod. However, those producers who are booked for longer are trying to hold quotes firm and even offer at higher levels.
