Turkish scrap buyers hesitate, rebar still sluggish
Turkey has booked a solitary deep-sea scrap cargo this week, as fluctuation in the value of the lira and the country’s looming general election continue to put off buyers. Rebar sales are said to be continuing but dependence is growing on a small number of export markets, sources tell Kallanish.
