Turkish rod quotes rise, scrap sentiment turns bearish
Turkish wire rod producers are seen to have further increased their export quotes due to longer lead times and strong domestic demand. Producers that still have availability in their production schedules, however, have kept their prices unchanged.
Producers that are longer utilised have increased their mesh-quality export quotes to $740-760/tonne fob Turkey. However, offers at $720-730/t fob are also available from some producers.
