Turkish rod producers suffer from low demand
Turkish wire rod producers are facing low demand in export markets. Coupled with decreasing scrap prices, this is increasing pressure on prices.
Although many rod producers refrain from giving concrete offers, prices seem to have softened. Turkish rod producers say they consider it pointless to offer material at a time of very limited demand. They are instead waiting for their customers to start inquiring and bidding.
