Turkish rod producers struggle to maintain export prices
The pressure on Turkish wire rod producers’ export prices is seen to have increased as a result of falling scrap prices.
Although some mills were offering mesh quality wire rods close to $500/tonne fob the week before, they lowered their offer prices to $490/t fob and below last week.
