Turkish rod producers increase export prices
The downward price trend seen in Turkish wire rod exports has finally come to an end after producers increased their prices last week.
Due to the recent hikes in scrap prices, all Turkish wire rod producers increased their prices by at least $5/tonne.
Mesh quality wire rod prices, which stood at $440-445/t fob last week, have increased to $445-455/t fob. However, price offers at above $455/t fob are also available from some producers who are booked for longer.
