Turkish rod producers further decrease prices
Although not as stagnant as rebar demand, weak wire rod demand in export markets is troubling Turkish producers. On account of this and additional scrap price decreases, Turkish wire rod producers have dropped their export prices further.
Mesh quality wire rod prices, which stood at $455-465/tonne fob the previous week, dropped to $440-445/t fob last week. However, price offers at $435/t fob are also available from some producers.
