Turkish rod exports in February lag behind 2019
Turkish wire rod exports declined once again in February, by -15.3% on-year to 118,514 tonnes; however, they were up 7.1% from January, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average price fell to $463/tonne versus $495/t in February 2019. It was virtually unchanged from January 2020.
