Turkish rod exports continue falling in May
Turkish wire rod exports, which have been decreasing significantly since the beginning of the year, fell once again in May, by -54.4% on-year to 104,391 tonnes. They were, however, up from 57,154t in April, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish.
Their average price fell to $436/tonne versus $518/t in May 2019 and $447/t in April 2020.
