Turkish rod exports continue rise in September
Turkish wire rod exports increased 26.7% on-year in September to 132,253 tonnes, following their August surge, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The September tonnage was, however, a sharp fall from 229,190t in August.
Their average price rose to $825/tonne from $450/t in September 2020 and $787/t in August.
