Turkish rod exports continue growth in April
Turkish wire rod exports grew year-on-year for the seventh consecutive month in April, rising by 47% to 39,495 tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. The export volume, however, fell significantly from 142,800t in February and 134,709t in March.
The average price was $617.5/tonne, versus $734/t in April 2023 and $617/t in March 2024.
