Turkish rod export prices rise slightly
Turkish wire rod producers have increased their export prices slightly following the rises seen in scrap prices this week.
Turkish wire rod export offer prices, which stood at $420-430/tonne fob a week ago, mostly stand at $425-435/t fob for mesh quality. However, higher prices of $440-450/t fob are also available from some producers that are booked for longer. Some producers are also seen to have halted their offers until the end of the Feast of Ramadan holiday.
