Domestic demand lifts Turkish rod export offers

Turkish wire rod producers increased their export prices again last week, despite export demand remaining unsatisfactory. The hike was the result of higher scrap prices and active domestic demand. Mesh-quality wire rod prices, which stood at $445-455/tonne fob the previous week, have increased to $460-470/t fob.
