Turkish rod export prices increase further
Turkish wire rod producers have further increased their export prices due to costlier scrap. Although there was very limited activity in the Turkish scrap market last week, scrap suppliers increased offer prices mostly to $305-310/tonne cfr Turkey for HMS 1/2 80:20, pushing up mills’ costs.
