Turkish rod prices rise, but some foresee correction
Turkish wire rod producers have increased their export quotes due to costlier scrap. Demand is observed to have slightly improved, driven by the EU.
Turkish producers’ offers for mesh-quality wire rod stand at $840-880/tonne fob Turkey, depending on their utilisation levels. Higher quotes, at $900/t fob, are also available from a few producers, though.
