Turkish rod export offers remain mostly unchanged
Turkish wire rod producers are seen to be struggling to keep their prices unchanged as buyer pressure on prices increases. Due to higher utilisation rates, however, most producers are not rushing to lower quotes, instead preferring to wait and see what happens in the market.
Most mills’ offer prices for mesh-quality wire rod remain unchanged at $510-520/tonne fob Turkey. A few mills that are booked for longer have kept their prices unchanged at $525/t fob.
