Turkish rebar quotes slide amid weak demand
Turkish rebar mills are being forced to decrease their offer prices despite scrap prices remaining firm.
On Thursday, mills’ rebar export offers were at $660-680/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, down from $670-690/t a week earlier. Offers for mesh-quality wire rod, meanwhile, were at $675-690/t fob.
