Turkish rebar quotes continue to fall
Turkish rebar quotes are continuing to fall amid unfavourable conditions in both domestic and export markets.
Turkish mills’ official quotes are mostly at $700-710/tonne fob Turkey actual weight, down from $710-720/t fob last week.
While mills’ offers are considered as high compared to Indian and Middle Eastern quotes in the global market, the sharp depreciation of the lira and economic instability are preventing the domestic market from recovering.
